CAMPING WITH THE STEINERS

On Saturday we decided to go camping with my parents!  We went up behind Nebo Mountian, the scenery was just perfect!  Just call my dad Mr. Mountainman because he found us an amazing spot, free of charge unlike some of those other "camping spots" around Payson Lakes!  The only unfortunate part was that it was at the edge of the mountain and it was a very windy day, so after we spent a couple hours and had lunch in that spot we ended up on the other side of that slope so that our tents weren't torn apart by the wind all night.  My sister Tiff and baby Tess came for the afternoon and after she left we set up camp and got to cookin my dad's famous dutch oven chicken!  IT WAS THE BEST DINNER OF MY LIFE!  It was so spicy our noses were running for the rest of the night, mmmmm.  We tried to play a card game but the wind made that almost impossible.  We got out dad's spotting scope after the sun set and looked at Jupiter, we could see 4 of Jupiter's moons, and after the moon came up we looked at all of the amazing craters close up!!!  Jeff brought his iPad up with the App; Star Walk!  It is a crazy fun application that you hold up to the sky and it shows you EVERY star and constalation, and everything about them.  The stars were so bright and the Milky way was beautiful, it was definitely the highlight of the night!  It was amazing and i'm not ashamed to say that I almost cried at the wonder of the stars and sky!  It was an amazing night until our matress got a hole in it and we were sleeping on rocks.... :( but the next morning's breakfast made up for such a bad sleep!
